Work with iLogBC
iLogBC operates with small, senior teams — and we extend that model to the consultants and domain experts we bring into engagements. We work with experienced logistics and shipping professionals who want to contribute their expertise to client engagements, either as associates on specific mandates or as longer-term consulting partners building a practice alongside ours. We are not looking for generalists. We are looking for practitioners who have spent years inside the sector — in port operations, freight forwarding, supply chain management, rail logistics, maritime law, trade finance, or logistics technology — and who want to apply that experience in an advisory context.
What we look for
- Minimum 8-10 years of direct sector experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, infrastructure, or logistics technology
- Demonstrable expertise in at least one of our eight service areas — not generalist consulting exposure
- India market knowledge — the regulatory environment, the commercial culture, and the operational realities that affect how advice translates into outcomes
- Client-facing communication ability — the capacity to present complex sector knowledge in a form that decision-makers can act on
- Professional integrity and confidentiality standards consistent with an advisory environment
What we offer
- Engagement-based collaboration on live mandates — matching your specific expertise to client needs in our pipeline
- Full-time consulting associate roles for the right candidates who want to build their advisory career within the iLogBC practice
- Research partnership for academics and policy professionals who want their sector knowledge applied in commercial advisory contexts
- Content partnership for experienced practitioners who want to contribute to our Resources section — articles, whitepapers, and policy notes
- A sector-focused professional community — our network spans port operators, freight forwarders, PE investors, and infrastructure developers across India and internationally

Your India presence, without the India office
Many global logistics and shipping companies, technology firms, and industrial organisations have India projects — supply chain work, market assessments, regulatory navigation, sourcing programmes, due diligence mandates — but do not have an India office or a team on the ground to execute them. Setting up an India entity takes time, regulatory clearances, and HR infrastructure that is disproportionate to a project-stage or early-market engagement. iLogBC provides structured on-ground representation for global organisations who want India execution capability without the full cost and complexity of an India establishment. We act as your India advisory and project execution partner — managing stakeholder relationships, navigating regulatory processes, conducting primary research, and delivering the work that your global team is directing.
What we provide
- On-ground project execution for India-specific mandates directed by your global or regional team
- Stakeholder and counterparty management — port authorities, government agencies, potential partners, and commercial counterparties in India
- Primary research and market intelligence — interviews, site visits, regulatory verification, and the ground-level intelligence that desk research in your home market cannot produce
- Regulatory navigation — FDI compliance, customs registration, GST setup, sector-specific licences, and the multi-authority clearance management that India entry requires
- Partner and vendor identification — shortlisting, due diligence, and facilitated engagement with potential Indian partners, distributors, and JV candidates
Who this is designed for
- International logistics and shipping companies evaluating India entry who need ground-level feasibility work before committing to establishment
- Global logistics technology companies seeking to validate product-market fit in India before building a local team
- PE funds and infrastructure investors requiring India-based due diligence support for logistics and infrastructure transactions
- Global manufacturing and trading companies developing India sourcing programmes who need vendor identification and audit support
- International law firms, investment banks, and advisory firms requiring specialist India logistics sector intelligence for client mandates

An advisory partner for your optimisation journey
Supply chain optimisation, operational change management, and logistics SaaS adoption are not events — they are journeys. The organisations that get the most from these investments are those that have an advisory partner who understands both the operational environment and the technology, and who stays engaged through implementation rather than departing after the recommendation. iLogBC partners with logistics and supply chain organisations on multi-phase transformation programmes — covering the strategy, the technology selection, the change management, and the performance monitoring that turns an optimisation initiative into a lasting improvement. We also work with logistics SaaS companies who want an advisory partner with deep sector credibility to help them position their product, refine their go-to-market, and support enterprise client engagements where operational expertise alongside the technology is what closes the sale.
For logistics & supply chain organisations
- Supply chain optimisation programmes — network redesign, modal shift, warehousing consolidation, vendor rationalisation — with iLogBC as ongoing advisory partner across all phases
- Technology adoption support — TMS, WMS, and ERP selection and implementation advisory, with the operational process redesign that makes technology investment deliver its projected value
- Change management advisory — designing and supporting the organisational change required when supply chain strategy, operating model, or technology infrastructure changes significantly
- Performance monitoring and improvement — establishing the KPI framework and review cadence that sustains the gains from an optimisation programme after the initial engagement closes
For logistics SaaS companies
- Go-to-market advisory — positioning your product in the Indian logistics market with messaging grounded in the operational language and commercial priorities of your target customer segments
- Enterprise client engagement support — iLogBC as advisory partner alongside your product in enterprise sales cycles where the customer needs both technology and operational expertise
- Product-market fit refinement — assessing which customer segments and use cases create the strongest product-operation alignment, and which require product development investment to close
- Investor preparation — helping logistics SaaS companies prepare the commercial narrative, financial story, and sector credibility positioning that logistics-focused investors require
